As you know, customer satisfaction is increasingly an important factor for brands. Looking after this aspect in their strategies, high-tech companies (this is also valid for other sectors) arrange to make their customers loyal to their products.
The expert is undoubtedly Apple, which managed to find the ingredients for a customer satisfaction envied by many of its competitors. Nevertheless, it seems that the Cupertino company has lost ground and that its main rival, Samsung, has improved.
However, Apple seems to have lost its luster in terms of customer satisfaction at least in the United States. According to the latest figures published by the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), which therefore gives statistics about customer satisfaction on a selection of products and brands, Samsung did better than Apple.
If we refer to all smartphones brands, the Korean company made draw with Apple (80% client satisfaction). Last year, Samsung was better than Apple with 81% against 79% for the US firm. Motorola is also an excellent competitor since it ranked third behind the two tenors with 79% of satisfaction rate.
The study of the ACSI also released a ranking of the best smartphones coming with the best satisfaction rates. While the iPhone has traditionally been number 1, this year the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is leading the way with a satisfaction rate of 86% against 82% for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus despite that the latter made a new sales record.
Also note the outstanding performance of Galaxy Note 3 (82%) and the Galaxy S5 (82%). The Moto X is also highly appreciated by users and recorded a satisfaction rate of 81%. Just behind the LG G3 that scored (80%) and reached the level of satisfaction of the iPhone 5.
