An unannounced mid-range HTC D728w smartphone was recently certificated by the TENAA (a chinese agency equivalent to the FCC in the United States) which means that the phone’s specs are made public. The smartphone likely to be known as HTC Desire 728. It is expected to be released by the end of the year in Asia.
According to the leaked information, HTC D728 display will be 5.5 inches IPS with 720 x 1280 screen resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek octa-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and a Adreno 306 GPU. The handset is equipped with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage expandable with MicroSD Card Slot up to 128GB.
Rumors said that the phone’s dimensions will be 157 x 77.8 x 7.87 mm, about 150 Grams of weight. It will come with a 13 megapixel back camera, along with a 5 megapixel front webcam. Lenovo picked the Android 5.1 “Lollipop” as an OS for this device that will be supported with a 2800 mAh battery.
As for any self-respecting smartphone, connectivity options via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and MicroUSB are be available.
The phone will be released in 6 colors: White, Black, Grey, Red, Gold, and Orange.
