As you might know, Google will offer not only one but two new Nexus whose one will be manufactured by LG and the other by Huawei, and if until now it was only a rumor, the information has just been confirmed by an internal source from the company. However, if you were hoping that the next Nexus Phone is based on the LG G4 then you may be disappointed because it will not be the case.
As in the case of Huawei that will produce the 5.7 inches version of the Nexus 2015, the collaboration between LG and Google has been unofficially confirmed to the Chinese website Gizmochina. The Korean manufacturer will collaborate for the third time with the American giant after two successful models launched respectively in 2012 and 2013. A very good news considering that the new Nexus will be produced by one of the best specialists in the domain.
This “Nexus 5 2015”, which we do not known yet its trade name, will be based on a new prototype. Its announcement will undoubtedly be during this autumn. According to the latest rumors, it should be equipped with a Snapdragon 808 processor, a dual rear camera, a 5.2 inches screen and a battery of 2700 mAh. It would therefore maintain a “reasonable” size while the model developed by Huawei will take over the Nexus 6 and will probably be cheaper, like its predecessor.
For now, all we know is that this new device will be designed by LG and will not be based on the G4. No information has been provided about its release date, but we already know that it will use the final version of Android M.
