Recently, there have been a lot of talk about the upcoming OnePlus 2 that features a design 100% metal and about its version 4 GB of RAM. Today, the Chinese website MyDrivers discussed the subject with a leaked photo of the beast and unveiled new information on the different variants. The image comes from the social network Weibo and reveals a metal unibody design that reminds us the products of the HTC One range.
If for the moment it is not yet known whether this rendering is authentic or fake, it is totally in contradiction with the diagrams released yesterday revealing the presence of a dual camera. In any case, we should know more over the mini announcements made by the company before of the official presentation the 27th July.
According to Geekbench, at least one of three variants of OnePlus 2 will be equipped with 4 GB of RAM. Last month, another version was discovered with 3 GB of RAM on board. According to the latest information gathered by MyDrivers, each of the two will be equipped with a Snapdragon 810 processor, however, apart from the amount of RAM, another element will differentiate them. The 3 GB Version is equipped with a Full HD 1080p screen and the 4GB version with a Quad HD.
Keeping in mind that Oppo had already done the same last year by proposing an Oppo Find 7 Full HD accompanied by a version Quad HD, this will allow the consumer to choose between a higher display quality or a longer battery life.
Although the Quad HD screens are increasingly democratized among manufacturers, they are not very appreciated by consumers.
