While the Xperia Z3 was released in a Compact version, the Z4 has not been entitled to the same treatment, but it should not be long. We can also expect a Xperia Z3 Compact +, since the Z3 Compact was one of the most successful flagships made by Sony.
Thus, the mysterious Sony E5663 was seen on various benchmarks, and all indices converge to the fact that it is the Xperia Z4 Compact. Unquestionably, this new smartphone will be appealing for its future users.
The Sony E5663 will feature a full HD 1080p screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) of 4.6 inches, an octo-core MediaTek MT6795 processor clocked at 1.9 GHz, supported by a PowerVR G6200 graphics chip and 3 GB of RAM. In terms of internal storage, the phone has 16 GB.
The most interesting thing about this device is its front camera, since it uses a 13-megapixel sensor, well above all other models that Sony used to offer, which would make from it a fashionable selfiephone. The rear one uses a 13-megapixel sensor, which is nothing special in 2015, but should be enough to take quality pictures.
Unfortunately, the Sony E5663 might be available only in India, although an international arrival under another name remains possible. Indeed, the Xperia M4 Aqua Dual and the Xperia C4 Dual have been launched in India as the E2363 and E5363. In addition to this, the E5663 has appeared on the import database of the country’s official website, Zauba.
We can only wait until Sony formalizes its E5663 to see if it really is a Xperia Z4 Compact or a Z3+ Compact. Anyway, no doubt that this smartphone will be able to impress many users around the world.
