Back in May, images leaked out showing off a phone called the Sony Lavender with a bezel-less design. Now, a new report confirms that the new device is coming to market next month along with the Sony Xperia T4 Ultra (E5503). This is expected to be the manufacturer’s first handset launched without side bezels.
The Sony Xperia T4 Ultra is equipped with a 5.5-inch screen, featuring a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution up to 401ppi (pixel density). Would you like to know what is under the hood of this Android device?, it is the 64-bit MediaTek MT-6752 SoC, which includes an octa-core 1.7GHz processor and a Mali-T760 GPU. 2 GB of RAM, and both the front and rear-facing cameras are 13MP and include an LED flash!
This model offers dual SIM capabilities and will come with Android 5.0 pre-installed. The unit supports 4G LTE connectivity and should be priced in the range of $280 to $300.
Until this moment, there is no trailer or official introduction to this product yet, we are certainly excited to know what Sony is cooking and whether or not this phone will worth all the secrecy around it.
