By the end of the month, Samsung will likely unveil its two latest high-end tablets, the Galaxy Tab S 8.0 and 9.7. After we discovered a first rendering of the Version 9.7 inches last month, now the version 8 inches was unveiled today in images during its appearance for the TENAA certification. In the program, a stylish design contained within the dimensions of 198.2×134.5×5.4 mm and weighs 0.57 pound (260 grams).
With its 5.4 mm of thickness, the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 (SM-T715) is even thinner than the Xperia Z4 Tablet (6.1 mm). Besides, from the front, we could possibly be confused with the Galaxy Tab A, but when viewed in profile, no doubt is possible.
Just like the model released last year, this new tablet will be equipped with a Super AMOLED screen. However, it will not be a 16:9 ratio anymore but a 4:3 ratio with a diagonal of 8 inches and a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. The performances will be provided by a octo core processor clocked at 1.9 GHz and supported by 3 GB of Ram. Probably the Exynos 7420 that we already find in the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
We also find a 8 megapixel camera sensor on the back and a front camera of 2 megapixels. The autonomy will be ensured by a battery of 3580 mAh for this 8 inches model and of course the device will run under Android Lollipop.
Nothing remains but to cross fingers until the official announcement that should no longer delay since it is planned for this current month.
