Documents from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released by DroidLife tend to confirm that the firm of Mountain View is preparing a couple of new smart glasses.
The website specialized in news of the little green robot, DroidLife, got its hands on documents suggesting that Google will soon propose a new collection of Google Glass. These top-secret documents come from the FCC, the American independent organism created by the US government in order to regulate interstate communications by radio, television, wire, satellite, and cable in the land of Uncle Sam. To be marketed, a high-tech product integrating wireless communication technologies must be subject to validation by this institution.
After suspending the development of this device in the Google X laboratories, it appears according to these documents that the release of these new Google glasses is approaching. The pair of intelligent glasses are mentioned under the code name A4R-GG1 (GG meaning probably Google Glass). The latter features 2 connectivity modes via Bluetooth Low-Energy and Wi-Fi 2.4 and 5 GHz. Also, this mysterious product will be equipped with a rechargeable battery, like any self-respecting wearable accessory.
Hopefully Google has learned the lesson and that the next Google Glass will avoid the fate of the last gadget because the brand failed to help consumers understand why they need this a device for such high price.
